Way of Seeing (acrylic)

It is not easy to trust aesthetics in term of elements of art and design principles because many try to interpret beyond them.

So they say that everyone has a different way of seeing. Actually, it could be that everyone has a different way of thinking.
Sometimes, it is quite straight forward to see. Especially a pair of critical eyes.

But not the mind. Everyone would try to describe, then analyse, then interpret and finally pass a judgement.

The intent of the artist, again, could be missed.

Lately, I read a remark of Andy Warhol about seeing. Intriguing I thought. Here's what Warhol said "I think of all the people before eye glasses were invented. It must have been weird everyone is seeing in different ways according to how bad their eyes were. Now, eye-glasses standardize everyones vision to 20-20!

And he continues to comment "That's an example of everyone becoming more alike. Everyone could be seeing at different levels if it weren't for eye glasses." To me, eye glasses is a symbolism of how lacking in opinion our sodiety has become. We take the critics verdict to seriously and sway along with their lines of thoughts, sadly.
